"I was looking forward to my first show."
Yana Shevchenko is TV presenter in Klenot TV - show is broadcasted on TV Barrandov, Barrandov Plus and Barrandov Family. Teleshopping show with golden-plated jewelry was broadcast by Joj Family, but now is Linka lásky on Joj Family. Show Klenot TV is broadcasted from Hungary (Telemedia InteracTV). How did you get to be a TV presenter in Klenot TV?
I got to the Klenot TV over casting in the acting agency. Castings are part of my professional life and I was glad that over one of them I got to an interesting project. Live TV shows have attracted me and it will be almost a year that I started shooting for Barrandov.
What was your first show?
I enjoyed my first broadcast and I had a lot of adrenaline. Of course, when it's a live show, there's no way to fix something, but that's all the more interesting and cheerful. It takes a lot of responsibility and love for the camera and the performance.
Is there some show Klenot TV which you will remember for a long time?
Every part of this show is different. Sometimes we've a new collection, a new studio, sometimes we have a new member of our team and we're broadcasting with him. I remember one special part: we had new products from England and I translated from Czech to English and back, so I helped Jitka to learn all about products from a woman from an English company. She was our guest.

Which is your favourite color of jewelry?
We usually have two kinds of the show: in one we work with gilded crystals, in the second with gems in silver. My favorite jewel is a gem called magical zircon. It has a full range of colors and it is in sterling silver.
During the summer we had several events. For example, summer Christmas - we had Christmas discounts in July. Or a week Princess Disney - presenters in costumes were princesses from the most famous fairy tales. I like creativity and new ideas, so I believe the audience also appreciated it.
